Remove unwanted hair permanently with laser hair removal. Excess and unwanted hair is a common problem. Conventional treatments such as shaving, plucking, waxing and depilatory creams provide temporary removal that is inconvenient, messy and often irritating to the skin. Electrolysis can give good results, but is time-consuming, often painful and only removes hair one at a time. Laser Hair Removal makes the elimination of unwanted hair quick and gentle. Laser Hair Removal permanently damages the hair follicle for permanent hair reduction without causing damage to the skin, providing a gentle, non-invasive and long-lasting solution to unwanted hair on any area of the body. Laser Hair Removal works by emitting pulses of intense light into the hair follicles which destroys the blood vessels that feed the hair follicle, therefore permanently killing that hair follicle. Many people, both male and female, deal with unwanted hair all over their body which often can be permanently removed by laser hair removal. Common areas include: bikini, underarms, lip, chin, back, chest and legs. Typically requires 6 to 8 treatments but this may vary.
Bella Medici Medical Spa uses the Q-switched laser technology for tattoo removal which is the gold standard and is FDA-approved, noninvasive, and approved for all ink colors. Previous methods of tattoo removal were painful and left scarring and did not treat all of the colors. Q-switched lasers have been developed to remove all of the various tattoo inks with very low risk of scarring. Our Q-switched laser has the technology capable of removing multiple tattoo inks. The laser emits an intense beam of light that removes and lightens tattoos without harming the surrounding skin. The light energy may be delivered as a continuous wave of light or in pulses. When the ink particles of the tattoo absorb the light from the laser, they are broken into tiny fragments. These fragments are then absorbed through the body’s natural cleansing mechanism and flushed away by the body's immune system. With more treatments, more ink will be shattered, leaving the skin free of the tattoo. Laser treatments are typically done every six weeks. Depending upon the size and color of the tattoo, multiple sessions may be needed.
Plasma IQ is the latest advancement in aesthetics that delivers focused, controlled plasma energy to safely and effectively create microinjuries on the skin, renewing and restoring it.
Microbeams of plasma are leveraged in a focused energy treatment, resulting in tightening and retraction of the skin tissues through controlled skin damage.
HOW IT WORKS
IONIZED GAS PARTICLES
As the device is brought close to the skin during treatment, it ionizes nitrogen gas particles in the air to create a plasma arc that looks like a spark.
SKIN RETRACTION AND REACTION
The plasma arc causes sublimation of the epidermis of the skin; turning a solid into gas, resulting in immediate skin tightening and retraction in the target area. This method of plasma sublimation is highly targeted and controlled. It does not transfer heat to the surrounding area. The procedure creates tiny brown carbon crusts or scabs in the treated area that persist for approximately one week before dropping off.
The microinjuries sustained during treatment promote the long-term firming, tightening, and smoothing effects that are part of the natural healing response.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photofacial
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photofacial is a laser light treatment that targets pigment issues, such as brown spots, sun damage and red spots, and Rosacea. The bright light passes through the epidermis, drawing out the pigment producing cells and dispersing the uneven pigment. IPL Photofacial can be used on the face, neck, chest, shoulders, back arms, legs and just about anywhere else. Photofacial is also an effective treatment for broken veins and spider veins.
IPL Photofacial is Intense Pulsed Light that emits multiple wavelengths into the skin and effectively targets pigment producing cells below the surface of the skin. The light energy is converted to heat energy and destroys the hyperactive melanin producing cells in the layers of your skin, eventually dispersing pigmented areas. The spots are pulled to the surface, eventually turning into a coffee-ground-like texture that eventually flakes off revealing beautiful, radiant skin beneath.
